For the ONE Q16 project, our customer not only needs an S&T Molsieve ecnomiser, but also an air cooled regeneration air cooler. The process is gas cooled with the help of outside air. Due to the high temperature difference between inlet and outlet, a split header is required, which prevents stresses due to temperature difference in the header. Furthermore, the cooler must be executed in Duplex because of the process medium. Aluminum fins are applied to the tubes to increase the surface area.
This is an Air Cooler. A multi-pass high fin bundle with plug type split headers, type PHFP 4/5590 x 1600 in Duplex according to PED cat.IV / Mod.G and ASME VIII Div.1 and API 661 (ISO13706)
