The cooling of the gas and the liquid is done in both Shell and tube exchangers by the use of cooling water that passes through the tubes of the U-bundle. The process flows go through the hull, whereby a no-tubes-in-window design with side-to-side flow has been chosen for the gas cooler because of pressure loss and vibrations. Robox was able to serve the customer by meeting the high demands and tough specifications of the end customer.
It concerns Shell & Tube heat exchangers. A one-pass shell with U-bundle and removable channel with cover plate. TEMA type AEU 457/5000 and AEU 508 / 4400. Entirely made of stainless steel. Designed and built according to PED cat IV / Mod H1 + ASME VIII div.1, TEMA R and NACE MR0103.
