An air-cooled gas condenser was required as maintenance for an existing installation. The installation provided the necessary cooling / condensation of the process gas flow.
The cooling is done by means of an Air Cooler. The product is cooled using outside air. To increase the surface fins are included on the tubes. Because the project concerns the replacement of an existing bundle, the design had to follow new mandatory norms, rules, fit within the existing shell and has to have the same thermal performance. ROBOX did the measurements on location to verify the dimensions.
The final product is called an Air Cooler. A multi-pass high fin tube bundle with removable cover plate type headers , type CHFC 6/6500×2490 with RVS316(L) tubes and headers made from C-staal following PED cat.IV/Mod.G, ASME VIII div.1 and API661 (ISO13706)
